In Loving Memory

Kemper, Anna Vaughn

Age 82 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on January 27th, 2023 from cancer. An avid and perpetual line and ballroom dancer, we hope she will continue to tango eternity away on a perfect dance floor without needing to use corn starch for sliding and with a perfect partner she’ll never have to back-lead. She was an artist in various mediums, including oil paint and concrete, and had a voracious curiosity about most things. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Kemper Sr., and her parents James and Opal Leach. She is survived by her son, Paul (Yolande) Kemper Jr. of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Beth (Bill) Burris of Haughton, LA, Selby Jean (Ralph) Thomas of Bossier City, LA; and her brother, James (Charlotte) Leach of Georgetown, TX. “These blessed candles of the night.”
