  5. Brian was my friend first and my co-worker second. We were dedicated animal lovers. I was so looking forward to the arrival of his new puppy. Our family here at Bethesda Home Health and Hospice are devastated by this loss. Everyone is sending thoughts and prayers to family and hoping for an end to Covid.

  7. I was saddened to hear this news today. He was known to me as “Sassy Ladue.” I have enjoyed our years of working together. Brian and I shared a cubby wall at work since being at the corporate office. I enjoyed getting to know him and hearing his funny stories that he shared. They were some of the best parts of my work day. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a kind heart. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family. He spoke of you all often and showed us all pictures of the newest fur babies and what they were up to while he was at work. His family was always on his mind. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

  27. Brian may have been the very first person who knew I was pregnant with my daughter 14 years ago. I had just started Bethesda hospice care. I had been going to an infertility doctor, And literally took my pregnancy test at the old office. I came out screaming. Brian was there. I remember how awkwardly happy he was for me. I look back at it fondly now. Something I will never forget.
Like everyone else, Brian knew the answers to most questions. He was there through thick and thin.My heart is sad. My deepest condolences.

  29. Lori, I loved your sweet Brian! Working together over the last six years at Bethesda Home Health and Hospice made us so much more than coworkers, we were family. He was one of my favorite people to see everyday, knowing that we were in the trenches together, doing everything we could from our desks to give excellent patient care. I knew when I went in the kitchen in the morning and smelled oatmeal, that he had been in there fixing his breakfast. I knew that when I got McDonald’s sandwiches two for $4, and left one on his desk, that he would give me a big smile later! I knew that when I came and knocked on the edge of his cubicle and he turned around with an annoyed look on his face, that he truly was not annoyed, but he was glad to see me. We’ve been through a lot of changes together and it drew us closer together. I cannot begin to imagine the loss that you and your family are experiencing. Please know that there are so many praying for you and your family! He will be so missed! I am so so sorry.

  37. Dear Lori and family,

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Brian was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold. When I was a new employee with Bethesda Hospice, he was so kind and patient with me, helping me to learn the ropes. He liked to put on a grumpy face sometimes, but there was always a kind nature, a helping hand, and a joke just behind it. I’ll think of him in the places he loved most – on the beach in Mexico, at a Blues game, showing everyone pictures of his new puppy, and with you, who he loved so dearly.

    My deepest condolences,

    Julie
