In Loving Memory

Jozwik, Thomas Michael

Passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 73. Tom was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 18, 1947. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lynn Becker Jozwik. Beloved father of Gregory (Anne) Jozwik; Janet (Nicholas) Jozwik and devoted Papa to Rex Jozwik and Leona Sapirie.

Tom moved to St. Louis and graduated from St. Louis University. After college, he spent his life teaching others in various ways and in turn, loved to learn about history, gardening and his family’s lives. Tom was known as a fantastic storyteller, philatelist, dedicated friend and will be missed by many.

In true fashion of a lifelong educator and student, Tom bequeathed his body to St. Louis University for research and education. A memorial will be held this summer to honor his life. Details are forthcoming.

  1. I already am missing you. Lynn is the sweetest person in the world and is the best wife, mother and grandmother that Thom could have married. You were so much fun Thom, when ever all of us got together. Will never forget you and will think about you in my prayers
