  3. My heart is with all of you. I have lost a very dear and special friend today. Bud was a second father to my son.
He helped my son grow into the man he is today. He was one of my husband’s instructors in his Police training.
Bud was part of our family, we will miss him terribly.
Love and Blessing for your family,
    Mary

  7. As a current scoutmaster and district training chair, it felt odd to not see him at Roundtable asking me how my family is and “are you still camping?” every month. I will always remember his gentle leadership and strive to be this way with my scouts.

  15. Bud, Thankyou for being there as the leaader of the “OLD GOATS”. I remember many camping trips and adventures in Scouting. You lead and taught the Adults and helped us to be the leaders for the Boys. Tommy has become quite the father and is now spending quality time teaching life skills to his family. Our Blessing and prayers to the Jones Family

  17. Bud was my scoutmaster and a major influence on me as a young man. Such a great example of service, leadership and love as he is one standard that I have used to measure my own relationships. There are too many memories and lessons to count. Like many others, I am better for having known him. I was grateful to reconnect with him in recent years and express my gratitude. Just like Troop 200…Bud Jones was The Best! Thank you for sharing him with us. Your family as always is in my thoughts and prayers.

  21. Many great memories of the Greatest Scout Master Mr Bud Jones.
He truly made Troop 200 THE BEST.
He will be missed by many people whose life he touched. But will be touching so many others, from all of us teaching what we learned from him.
