  23. So sorry to hear of Diana’s passing. We were friends from DB ‘67 and also worked together at Ralston Purina in late 60’s/early 70’s. We always kept in contact over the years through reunions, emails, etc. Diana & Glenn we’re also good friends with our neighbors, Nancy & Joe Dial – small world. Diana was a great gal. Always loved her humor and sarcasm. Sending prayers and healing intentions to her family. Will miss you, Diana, and will raise a glass of wine (definitely a South County pour) to you

  25. I send my condolences to all of the Romeos and Hollers. I write this in disbelief. Dee Dee was one of those personalities that was larger than life. I was a tiny bit taller so I always remember her looking up with those big, brown eyes , the dimple in her cheek and a broad smile while her hands were gesturing wildly and she talked a mile a minute. I spent a lot of time at the Romeo house and slept between the sisters in the crack of the twin beds pushed together. She wasn’t my older sister but I learned so many things from the conversations we all had together. She was fierce in many ways but no more so than about her family. She will be missed more than one can put into words. I am so sorry. Prayers and love.

  27. Dee Dee was my cousin and my friend we spent our whole childhood together celebrating birthday’s and summer BBQs. We didn’t always agree on everything but we knew we truly cared for each other. We spent many days in the pool with the grandkids and I enjoyed all the times spent together. She will be missed by so many. My prayers go out to you Glen, Eric and Doug. And Barb and Tina lost a great role model. I know she loved her grandkids and each and every niece and nephew like her own. RIP DD and give hugs to everyone up there.

  33. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Glen, Eric and Doug and the rest of your beautiful families. Losing someone you love is horrible. And losing a mom is about the hardest thing we ever have to go through. DeeDee is older than me, but as we grew older, I felt more her age. We became friends. I always loved her stories of my mom teaching a few of them how to sew. She loved her family just like she was taught to do. I always loved looking how big your family grew. Wow look what 3 girls did. I always said Pila & Johnny would be so proud. You are all very lucky to have a matriarch to remember. And carry on her traditions.
Barb & Tina, I don’t know what to say. I can’t even imagine losing a sister. I hope I have mine forever. RIP DeeDee

  35. Glenn & Diana lived across the street from us when we moved to Grimsley Station Bluff Drive in 1998 from Atlanta. Diana was so welcoming and made us feel like we made the right move. When our Daughter died in 2003, Diana organized the neighborhood women to clean our home, make the beds and provide food while we were at the funeral home & funeral. We will never forget her act of kindness. Our deepest sympathy to Glenn & family. Jim & Nan Mills
