In Loving Memory

Holk, Raymond Charles

Holk, Raymond Charles, on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Dear son of the late Charles and late Lorraine (nee Strebler) Holk, dear friend of Karin Whitaker, and so many other friends.

Ray was a graduate of Bishop DuBourg High School, and graduated from Ranken Technical Institute. He retired from Sprint as Senior Network Operations Specialist. He was a ham radio operator. Ray also took flying lessons which he was very proud of. Ray was proud of his work at Sprint, and he could fix absolutely everything around the house, including computers. He loved his cars, and — as he always likes to day, he loved both kinds of music; Country AND Western. But most of all, Ray loved to dance, and he was the best. Every lady around loved to swing dance with Ray.

He wants to thank all this who visited him and prayed for him, and sent some 100+ cards to him during these last several months. Ray will be greatly missed by all his friends, especially from the dancing community.

Services: A memorial service will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Saturday, October 7, at 10:00 AM. Inurnment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Backstoppers or the charity of your choice, and are appreciated.
