  7. As Doris’ niece, I have many happy memories from my childhood of my family’s annual visit to MO and spending time at her house. She was a kind person and a gracious hostess. Later, I enjoyed taking my mom and my youngest daughter back to MO to visit family. Again, Doris was always welcoming. My daughter is in between Doris’ granddaughters ages and we all enjoyed the time spent together. Good memories! Aunt Doris and I also talked on the phone regularly throughout the years. I enjoyed hearing about her gardening and learning her childhood stories about the country and how things were in “times past.” May she Rest In Peace.

  11. Ken, you are always there to lend a helping hand. I believe this trait came from your mom. I’ll cherish our Pancake Breakfasts and Holiday meals with my parents as well. Her spirit is always present.
    Prayers for the family.
