In Loving Memory

Hippe, Patricia J.

Died peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017, at age 94.

Patricia was born in Rock Hill and lived most of her life in  Kirkwood.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gillman Hippe, her sister Jane, and brother Frank (Bud) Sextro.  She is survived by sisters Mary Lowe, Phyllis Mees and brother Robert Sextro.

Loving mother of Phyllis  (Michael) Ward, William Hippe, Barbara (Mark) Desmond,  Thomas (Tara) Hippe, Therese (Roger) Stojeba, and Robert (Lise) Hippe.

Loving grandmother of Katie (Jeff) Christian; Joe (Emily)  Desmond; Colleen (JP) Gips and Lauren Hippe; Lea, Alex and Grace Stojeba; and Will, Matt and Anna Hippe.

Pat was a voracious reader and life-long learner.  She was an avid listener, creating a ministry role as such in a soup kitchen in Mesa, Arizona for several winters.  Pat loved camping,  traveling, photography and spontaneity.  In numerous instances she was years ahead of her time.  We will miss her.

Services: Pre-Mass visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m.  Saturday followed by a Celebration of Life Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kirkwood.  Interment will  follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,  donations to Peter and Paul Community Services – Safe  Haven are  appreciated.
