Henrichs, John Michael

John Michael Henrichs was born in St. Louis on September 16, 1950 and passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 71. Mike leaves behind his sister Joan Harper (nee Henrichs) and her husband Ed Harper, also nieces Kim Harper (wife Jan Pellman) and Laura Bennett (nee Harper) (husband Douglas). Mike was proud to be a great uncle to a nephew and three nieces as well as a great great niece. He was preceeded in death by his parents, John and Connie Henrichs. Mike lived his life, sharing his ministry for more than 35 years with multiple mid-west congregations. Later in life, Mike worked at AT&T for 10 years, eventually retiring in 2015,at the age of 65. He loved preaching the word of God through music, sermons and prayer. He was a gentle soul and dearly loved his family. A funeral service for Mike will be held in Oklahoma City at the Church of the Open Arms United Church of Christ. The date of his service will be May 11 at 7:00 pm. on ZOOM. Mike’s final resting place will be Valhalla Cemetery after a family ceremony at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 St. Louis, Mo. 63123. Contributions to Church of the Open Arms 3131 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Oklahoma City, Ok. 73112 appreciated.

  1. We are so sorry about Mike’s passing and thankfully he is at peace! Sure hate that we won’t be here on the 20th, but at least can watch the video!
