Henning, George Thorpe Sr. 81, joyfully reunited with Michael and Austin on April 30, 2016. Spouse of Mary Lynne (Robbins) for 31 years; former spouse of Mary (Sullivan) Henning; father of George Jr. (Rita), Stephanie Lickerman  (David), Brian (Jill), Kerry (Kim), Anastasia, the late Michael, Christina, Leanna, Alayna, Clayton and Colton; grandfather of 19; great-grandfather of 1; brother of the late John Jr.,  Virginia (the late Earl) Hamel,  William (Judy), the late Marianne Arenas, Rosemary (the late Gregory) Gregory; life-long friend of John Mock, David Marsh and Dick Travers. Special thanks to the caring staff, Doctors and Nurses at SSM St. Clare Hospital, Dr. Barney Fritz and deGreeff Hospice House and to George’s own guardian angel on earth Aunt Sue.  Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Private interment. Memorial Mass at 6:30 p.m. on May 20, 2016 at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church, Wildwood. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to Mass. Contributions appreciated to i-rokfoundation.org in support of pediatric cancer research. A  KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY SERVICE.
