Monday, April 30, 2018. Beloved husband of Nancy Hemme (nee Hollingsworth) for 62 years; dearest  father of Michael A. (Cynthia) Hemme; loving  grandfather of Sarah and Jared Hemme, Hannah (Ben)  Bashinski, Coline and Samuel Duncan; dear brother of Violet (Richard) Kassebaum, Fred (Carolyn) Hemme, brother-in-law of Jerry (Carolyn) Hollingsworth; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Chester served as Music Minister at First Baptist Church of  Arnold for 38 years. He continued his mission at First Baptist Church of Oakville, First Baptist Church of Affton, First Southern Baptist Church of Cahokia, Illinois and Bayless Baptist Church.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd., Thursday, May 3, 4-8 p.m. Funeral at First Baptist Church of Festus, Crystal City, Friday, May 4, 10:00 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to First Baptist Church of Festus, Crystal City, Building Fund  appreciated.
