  Heddell, Peter J. “Pete” Monday May 9, 2022. Beloved husband of Linda A. Heddell (nee Scheffel). Dear father of Thomas Heddell, Christina (Stephen) Mueller and Patricia (John) Jabouri. Dear grandfather of Jakob Mueller. Dear son of John and Cheryl Heddell. Dear brother of Linda (Chuck) Stanton, Jack Heddell, Susan (Josh) Campbell, Jenny (Jason) Westcoat and James “Jay” (Christina) Heddell. Dear half-brother of Stephen (Jennifer) Fulton, Jim (Linda) Fulton and the late Judy (survived by Hal) Guerrin, Susan (Claude) Phillips and David Michaelson. Dear son-in-law of the late Mathias and Katharina Scheffel. Our dear uncle, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend.

Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saturday June 18, 1:00 pm until service at 3:00 pm. Service concludes at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the German Cultural Society, 3652 So. Jefferson Ave. (63118) appreciated.

  9. Sorry to hear this. We became friends working at the postal service and always kept in touch with him and had good conversations and got together as much as we could. He was a good man and will be missed.

  21. I’m so sad to hear about Pete’s passing. I remember his enthusiasm about skiing (and cooking) and how he taught my kids how to ski on a Boy Scout trip. He was an asset to the scouts and known as a fun dad. Blessings to your family as you go through this rough time.

  23. I’m so sad to hear this; he was a truly amazing person. He was so wonderful and kind. At every event, he would always go out of his way to make sure I had a vegetarian item to eat. I will always remember his smiling face on the dance floor. ❤️
