81, passed Thursday July 23, 2020 in his home in Tarpons Springs, FL surrounded by his loving wife and children. Ed was born March 6, 1939 in the Soulard neighborhood in St. Louis, MO to Willard and Anna (Korenak) Harris. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael and Willard, and his first wife Margaret Suzanne (Kohlmann) Harris, the loving mother of his three children. Ed is survived his loving wife of 25 years Angela McDaniel, his daughters Laura (Rock) Orozco, Carol Scanlon, and by his son Daniel (Yvonne) Harris. He is also survived by sisters Carol (Glen) King, Toni (Jules) Zach and Barbara Harris Calloni. Ed also leaves behind four grandchildren, Zachary, Alexandra, Zoe and Joshua; two great-grandchildren Mila and soon to arrive Elijah.

A veteran of the US Air Force, Ed served as a Russian linguist and went on to serve as a contractor for the military as a computer programmer for AMC, St. Louis. In addition to his family, Ed loved all music with his favorite being classical music. Also crossword puzzles, the weather, plants, birds, sports, a good bottle of wine and his Budweiser. He will be sincerely missed by family, neighbors and friends across the country.

SERVICES: Celebration of Life and Remembrance, Kutis Funeral Home 2906 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63118 August 20th, 4-8pm. Interment Services, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery August 21st, 10:00am. Following the Interment Services, all are invited to “Bust a Move” to the Cat’s Meow in Soulard, 2600 S. 11th St. at 3pm, for further celebration of Ed’s life.
