Halley, Mel “Butch” entered into rest on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Beloved husband of Saundra B. Halley (nee Teer); loving father of Sherry (Dave) Jackson and Tony Halley; cherished grandpa of Tori, Bella and Kylie Halley and Ellie Jackson; brother of the late George (survived by Dolores) Halley; brother-in-law of Pam (Dale) Hoofman; dearest uncle of Dawn (Darryel) White, Dee (Doug) Francis, Mike Halley and the late Donnie (LaQuetta) Halley and Ricky (Mary) Halley. a treasured great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Saturday, October 26, from 12 noon until time of service 2 p.m. with all services concluding at Kutis. in lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
