In Loving Memory

Goggin, Alma Wonzel “Sandy”

Passed away peacefully in her home and entered into God’s  reward on June 3, 2018. She was preceeded into Glory by her  husband of 56 years, David; her 4 brothers and 3 sisters and her parents.

She was in the United States Nurse Corp near the end of World War 2 and as a  registered nurse, she served as a surgical scrub nurse at St. Louis University  hospital for a time, then as a  private physicians office nurse, a Charge nurse at a nursing home and finally as a school nurse for the Bayless School  District. She was a long time active member of Bayless Baptist Church and taught several different age Sunday school class for many years. She also volunteered for many church activities.    She was an avid dessert maker who loved family get-togethers.

She is survived by her 4 children: Marvin “Pete” Yoder (Ann), Barbara Smith, Thomas Goggin (Donna), Pamela Dean (Mike); 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Beloved Wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Services:  Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151  Gravois Rd., Friday, June 8, 9 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4 to 8 pm.
