Beloved father of David Gerland of St. Louis; Barbara Gerland of Lake Tahoe, CA and the late Daniel Gerland; dear grandfather of 7; great-grandfather of 9; former husband of Johanna Gerland; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
Mr. Gerland was a member of The American Legion Post 397 (Creve Coeur) and a lifetime member of the NRA. Longtime employee of Sears, Brod-Dugan and Central Hardware.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Thursday, October 6, 11:30 a.m. until service at 1:30 p.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Alzheimer’s Association or Wounded Warrior Project appreciated.
