Age 93, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Monday, November 21, 2022. Born in Litchfield, IL to Michael and Mina Gallagher (nee Aikman); beloved husband of the late Geraldine Marie Gallagher (nee Buerke); dear father of Maureen (Joe) Schulte, Margie (Ray) Knight, John (Susie), Trish (Louie) Bourgeois, Mike (Debbie), Jim, Connie (Ken) Plumb, Bill, Tom (Julie) and Steve (Susan); dear grandfather of 47 and great-grandfather of 68; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend.
Preceded in death by his children, Gerry, Kathy, Elaine and his grandson Joe.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Monday, November 28, 12:30 p.m. to Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church for 1:00 p.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.

When I think of the Mr. And Mrs. Gallagher I remember all of the emotions that make us human…I always wished they had adopted me into their loving family and in a way they kind of did.
