Freeman, Marvin Leonard

Freeman, Marvin Leonard entered into rest Thursday, June 23, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Freeman (nee Wind); loving father of Brian (Victoria) Freeman; cherished grandfather of Nikki (Larry) Clark and Danielle (Jeremy) Smoot; great-grandfather of Haley Knight-Freeman, Zayne, Beau, Colton, Scottlyn and Mac Smoot; brother of Glynn Freeman, Anne (Late Roy) Watt and the late Ruby (Ralph) Simpson and Jerry (survived by Mary) Freeman; our dear-uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Freeman served his country as a medic in the Missouri Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force and over 38 years.

He worked part-time as a surgical technician for several years to launch his flying career.  Marvin logged over 9,700 hours of flying time and over 8,700 hours of that instructing pilots at all levels.

Our Country was fortunate to have a hero like him. He is gone….. but never forgotten.
