  3. My condolences to Ed’s family and friends. It was my pleasure to have worked with Ed at the SIUE East St. Louis Center years ago. I was saddened to see the University’s announcement of his passing. He always had a smile and a wave for me whenever I was back on that campus, and that is what I will remember.

  9. I was Ed’s supervisor at the ESLHEC for a bit over eight years and he was a great fellow to work with. Ed was quiet in demeanor, but steadfast in his work efforts and he contributed significantly to the campus. I can honestly say that in those eight years I never heard him utter an unkind word about anyone. Rest in peace, Ed, and my sympathies to all the family.
