Eckhoff, Colin K.

Colin K. Eckhoff passed away, along with his father, Paul, on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born on May 10, 2011, in St. Louis, MO to Tonia (McSpadden) and Paul Eckhoffand was a cherished son, brother, grandson, friend, and student.

Colin loved all things Star Wars, Lego, monster truck, and Blues. Fishing with his Grandpa Ron was always a special treat. He loved his family fiercely and looked after his brother, Charlie. Colin enjoyed playing outdoors, especially with his neighborhood friends. He played summer baseball with Lindbergh YMCA and was given the nickname “The Hulk”. With the desire, in the future, to play professional baseball for his memaw.

His mother, Tonia McSpadden Eckhoff followed him in death less than 24 hours after his passing. Colin is survived by his grandparents Ron and Diann McSpadden and Mary Lou Eckhoff; sister, Audrey (Mark) Henebry; brother, Charlie Eckhoff; along with his aunts, uncles, and many extended family members and friends.

Services: Visitation at Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois Rd., Tuesday, July 6, 11-1 p.m. with a service immediately following. Interment at the Park Lawn Cemetery.

Celebration of Life and Garden Dedication will be held at Concord Elementary Playground Pavilion, 10305 Concord School Rd., St. Louis, MO 63128 on Tuesday, July 6 at 6:30 p.m. ***With Colin’s love for the St. Louis sports teams, please join us in wearing Cardinals or Blues gear.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the GoFundMe account, Eckhoff-Henebry Family Fund, organized by Becky Class to support Charlie’s ongoing care needs or to the Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri.
