Eby, Raymond N., Age 88, suddenly on Mon., May 29, 2017.

Beloved husband of the late Virginia Faye Eby (nee Smith) and the late Jean Mueller (nee Galster); dearest father of Connie (the late Gary) Davis,  Debbie (Randy) Weber and Dan (Doris) Eby; like a father to Mike (Lisa) Busalaki; grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 11;  preceded in death by his parents and siblings; our dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Ray was born in Oklahoma, grew up in St. Louis and attended Cleveland High. He boxed as a youth in the Golden Gloves  Tourney, twice going to the finals.

Ray raced modified stock cars locally for over 30 years  winning three Allied Auto Racing Assn. championships. He also drove at Daytona in the inaugural race in 1959. Ray owned used car lots in St Louis for nearly 40 years and had many fans and friends.  He will be deeply missed.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd., Sat., June 3 at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation Fri., 4-8 p.m.
