  1. The Driska family we were so saddened to hear of Norms passing. Lowell will really miss his coffee buddy and the St Louis Cardinal conversations. We enjoyed Judy and Norms company for many years. May he be at peace now!

  5. Uncle Norm and Aunt Judy are just that to us Dozier kids, our sweet Uncle and Aunt. I know that our beloved Mom, Norm’s brother/forever friend’s wife Lynne, met him at the gate. Our hearts are broken. All of you are in our prayers, yesterday, today and always will be. We love you all so very much. ❤️

  9. Judy, Chris, Ken, Grace, Ellie and family I’m am so very very sorry, you are all in my daily thoughts, heart and prayers. I will miss my buddy Norm, I loved him as family, he was a very special man as you all know. I’m sure he is up there with the prize fish right now, I can see him beaming!!!

A little story, Norm took me fishing with him one early morning, now it was the first time he’s ever taken me, and we’ve never fished together before. So I show up dressed like its 30 below and carrying a duffle bag. Its July lol but its 600 am and not warm enough for me on the lake yet. So Norm looks at me and says “what the heck are you wearing and why the duffel bag”? I say “I’m cold now but I’ll warm up later and I have a bathing suit and shorts and a tank top on under my sweats.” Lol. I have water etc in my bag. Ok he says. Now we haven’t even gotten to the funny part yet.
So Norm gets us all loaded and away we go. Here comes a speed boat flying at us, blaring Metallica! For those of you who may not know Metallica is a heavy metal band. Well Norm yells turn that stuff down as the boats rips past us, then looks at me and says its 615 am what is wrong with that guy? Lololo So we get on our way and reach our spot and he gives me my rod and then says here’s your bait. I turn to grab it from him and it’s a cricket!! I’m deathly afraid of crickets lol so I jump back and start yelling to get it away from me and I try to run around the boat. Norm is yelling stop moving your gonna capsize us, what’s wrong with you!! I’m yelling I’m afraid of crickets and he stops and I stop I look at him and tell him to drop it and don’t come near me! Lol He’s looking at me like I’m crazy and says “Joan, this is the bait we’re using today and I don’t bait people’s hooks for them!” Well the tears just start rolling down my cheeks and he walks towards me grabs my hand and makes me take the cricket. I scream and squish it and throw it and start freaking out how yucky it was! He said “man I’ve never put up with stuff like this with anyone before, now I’m gonna bait your hook but don’t you tell anyone that I did”!! I did however, by the end of the day, bait my own hook once. Only for my buddy Norm would I touch a cricket, let alone be near one. Sorry Norm had to tell because this fish story was too good to leave that part out!! RIP my dear friend I will truly miss you!!

  23. Judy and family sorry for your loss. Norm will be missed a good man. Darlene and I were Norms first paying fishing Guide customers about 8 years ago. He picked us up at Ozark Mountain resort dock. We immediately connected with his friendly manner and coaching. I probably went out 8 to 10 times with Norm. He was an AF vet and me Navy shared stories. I usually saw Norm 1 to 2 times a year either Bass Fishing or meeting at Billy Gail’s or Donnie breakfast. Couple of times we had the pleasure of Judy there.

    RIP Norm .
