In Loving Memory

Davisson, John Patton

September 8, 1939 – May 13, 2022

The Lord has taken John to join his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Davisson, with family at his side.

Dear father of Janet (Chris) Tain, Michael Davisson and Joseph Davisson;  dear son of the late John C. and Patricia Davisson;  dear brother of Jim (Janey) Davisson, the late Tom (the late Judy) Davisson;  dear brother-in-law of Peter (the late Barbara) Volas, Ginny (Deacon Paul) Stackle,  Patti (Phil) Rose;  dear nephew-in-law of Anita Volas Brinkman;  dear uncle, cousin and friend.

After graduating Webb City High School, John studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of MO – Rolla.  He enjoyed working on many space program projects at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing.  Retiring after almost 40 years allowed more time for his love of family, golfing, fishing and woodworking.  Your family and friends will greatly miss you and you will be in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the charity of your choice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services:  Visitation Kutis AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois, Saturday May 21, 2:00 pm until services at 4:00 pm. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery will be held in private.
