75, of St. Louis, MO was relieved of his battle with cancer to enter the gates of Heaven and went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

  He was born in St. Louis, MO on September 14, 1941 to the late Mildred Elda Lukens and Edward  Joseph Davies. Dave graduated with a degree from Southern Illinois  University of Edwardsville (SIUE). He was married to the late Carol Ann Davies (Chaboude). Dave had a zest for life. His accomplishments in life are far too many to fully list. He was community-driven, a dedicated  businessman, athletic coach to many, father figure to all, with a  witty, endearing and charming  personality. He was a stranger to no one and loved by many.

  He is survived by his beloved sister Bonnie Okun; former wife and  mother of his children Gayle (Sue) Davies; children: Scott Davies, Kelly Davies, Tiffany Davies and Derek  Davies; grandchildren: Ariel, Julian, Maclaine, Michaela and Nikki  Chaboude; uncle to: Sonja, Laura and Alyssa.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Thursday, November 3, 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Celebration of Life party will be held immediately after burial service and will be announced at that time. Visitation Wednesday, 3-8 p.m.
