73 of Kirkwood, Missouri died Tuesday August 31st in his home.

Rite of Christian Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Kostka  Polish Catholic Church on Friday,  September 10, 2021  at 11am with inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery (6901 Mackenzie Rd., 63123)

Dennis was born on March 31, 1948 at Trinity hospital in Jamestown, N.D.

Born to Marjorie ( nee Grabau) (Cuypers) Cox and James Cox. Dennis grew up in Jamestown N.D and attended Jamestown High School. He then moved to Fargo N.D and graduated from Shanly High School. After graduating he then joined the Franciscan Brotherhood in Springfield Illinois. He then went on and received his Masters Degree in Education from Strich College. He taught for over 20 years with the Franciscans and  STL School system. Dennis loved to volunteer for many organizations and especially the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and James Cox, Siegfried Storz, Angela Cox, 2 Gr great nieces, and many aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his 4 brothers, Lee Cox of Barnesville, Mn, Larry(Emily)Cuypers of Breckenridge, Mn and Mark(Patricia)Cox of Barnesville, Mn and Patrick(Linda)Cox of Barnesville, Mn, many nieces and nephews that he loved so dearly. 3 Aunts, Jerri Williams, Portland, Oregon, Donna Lipetzski, Jamestown, North Dakota and Florence Grabau of Olathe, Kansas. Many, many cousins.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Missouri Botanicals Gardens appreciated.
