  1. Beautifully written as he deserved. Mike (or Mickey as he was known as a child) was the big brother all little girls and grown women look up to. He was a friend to all and always glad to see you. He loved his family with all his heart and confided to me when he came home from service for Christmas that he had a girlfriend. In less than two months our beloved Mom passed away suddenly. I got to meet Gayle three months later and fell in love with her myself. Whether he presented her with a gift of a ruler or flowers for no reason she was thrilled. Their’s is the real love story. Innocent, simple, but profound. They will be physically separated for a short time, but their love story is for eternity. ❤️❤️

  3. Dearest Gayle and family, we share in your sadness at the loss of our precious Mike. Our family was greatly blest by the abundant love and joy that he shared. Every visit and phone conversation with Mike was truly like a ray of warn sunshine because of his genuine caring and joyful humor. To his cousin Donald, Mike was like a younger brother. 7. The picture of Mikey tells so much about him and how he loved others. Always smiling when he greets you and makes you feel it’s all about you. I felt he he was genuinely interested in me, my family and how we were doing.
I recently talked with Mickey and Gayle about family history. Mainly the Paces and Whelans. As always he moved the conversation to Aunt Jo, whom we all love and miss. Well now he is together again with his mom, Aunt Jo, and his brother Terry.
When I was younger their mother would bring Mickey, Patty and Terry to Little Rock. We loved their visits and I’ll always remember Aunt Ann called me Smiley. These days I don’t smile as much as I should, but Mikey’s smile will always remind me to share the love with others.

Love and smiles to the Coppages. Lisa and I have you in our daily Rosaries.

  21. I am so sorry read just today (6/252022) that my cousin, Michael has gone to Jesus and I was unaware. He was a wonderful cousin to me. He served as deacon at my Perpetual Profession of Vows in 1971. While joyful for Mike, as he is at peace, I wish my heartfelt sympathy to Gayle and family.
