Collins, John J.

Collins, John J. entered into eternal life after complications from Parkinson’s Disease on March 31, 2018 at the age of 82. He was a devoted husband of 50 years to Helen and a wonderful father to his 3 daughters, Anne (Frank) Fischer, Karen (Jerome) Frechette and Jennifer (David) McAteer; loving Papa to his grandchildren  Michael and Madeleine Frechette.

John was a a graduate of St. Louis University High School, St. Louis University and  Washington University School of Law. He was a member of the Missouri  and St. Louis County Bar  Associations and practiced Law for 53 years. He was also a founding member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish. John will be remembered as a friend and  counselor who reached out to all with care, compassion, hope and humor.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd., Friday, April 6, 10 a.m.  to Mary Mother of the Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions to American Parkinson’s Disease  Association or  St. Vincent de Paul Society at Mary Mother  of the Church. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m.
