Caviecy, Bonnie Mae

Bonnie Mae Caviecy (nee Hawkins) of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 after 89 years of life full of love with family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Donald Caviecy Jr.; mother of Donna Caviecy, Sally Hartnagel and the late Susan Granda; mother-in-law of Jack Granda; grandmother of Benjamin (Kathryn), Megan, and Douglas (Jennifer) Granda and Justin (Mary Jane) Hartnagel; great-grandmother of Lucas, Michael, and Adelaide Granda, with two more due this year; sister of June Little. Preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Effie, and five of her siblings. Faithful member of St. Paul UCC, SBAC, and STLFD Ladies Auxiliary.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services: visitation is at the Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd, on Sunday, August 21, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral is on Monday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 3510 Giles Ave. Interment at Jefferson Barracks immediately following.

    You were kind to me from the first day I met you, and made me feel welcome in strange St Louis. I will miss you, and appreciate your great Caviecy – Granda clan, that I’ve been able to enjoy for 44 years
