Fern was a huuuge blessing at Windsor High. Each day I got to see her, she always had a smile on her face. It always hurts to see a loved member of the community move on. My condolences to her and her family.
With Deepest Sympathy, One special lady that will be forever missed…
Jesus said to Peter, “Upon this rock, I will build my church.” Similarly, he seemed to give the Stevenson family a rock–he gave us Fern. Fern also leaves her beloved Aunt Ruby (Ruble) and 5 sisters: Lorene Goodman, Wilma Myers, Peggy Richards, Joan (David) Falcone, and Nancy (Mike) DeMent. Fern (and Leo) were always there for us in all of life’s celebrations and sadness. Their door was always open, the coffee always hot, and Fern was ready to feed us. We will miss her, but today she is reunited with her parents, Marshal and Imogene (Rutter) Stevenson, and she and Leo, again, stroll hand in hand. I pray God’s blessings of peace and comfort to Neva & Art and your families. Love, Auntie
My deepest condolences to the family. One of the most loving and caring woman that I have ever met. She will be greatly missed by many.
