Delores-Cassani

In Loving Memory

Cassani, Delores C.

(nee Green) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, December 4, 2021.  Beloved wife for 71 years of Richard T. Cassani; dear mother of Richard M. (Sharon) Cassani, Ann Marie (Tony) Marino, Brian T. (Pat Taylor) Cassani, Mary T. (Larry) Born, Beth (Ivan) Orup and the late Delores “FiFi” Cassani and Paul Joseph (Surviving Janet) Cassani; dear grandmother of Brian Cassani, Eric Cassani, Anne Marie Cassani, Maureen Cassani, Vincent (Stephanie) Marino, Andrea (Dhruv) Bansal, Matt Marino, Alex (Kara) Born, Nick (Raffa) Born, Tony Born, Isabella Orup, Ivan Orup, Luke Orup and Rik Orup; dear great grandmother of Bella, Max, Mason, Maggie, Henry and Frankie; dear sister of Augusta Green and the late Daisy Miller and Frank Green.

Delores’ greatest passions were her faith and her love for her family. Her quiet faith was a force of love that inspired all who really knew her. It motivated everything she did, and she was an example to everyone in her life. She was a leader in the most humble way and never required attention or praise to motivate her. Her joy came in the successes of her family and helping them to navigate the inevitable ups and downs in life.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Annunciation Catholic Church Friday, December 10, 9:00 a.m. until Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.  KUTIS AFFTON SERVICE

  11. So sorry to hear of her passing. I grew up just a few doors down and remember her making lunch for all of us after a game of stick ball or chase. So pleasant and so friendly. My condolences go out to the entire family.

  13. So sorry to hear of the passing of my Aunt Delores. I remember her fondly growing up on Ivanhoe before our family (John R. Sr. and Mary Ann) moved to Indiana around 1963.
