Campbell, Gloria F.

Campbell, Gloria F. (nee Brauch) on Tues. March 2, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Herbert A. Campbell, sister, aunt and dear friend passed away at age 87 at deGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis, MO. She was born May 22, 1933 in St. Louis to Edward and Mary Brauch. She received her secretarial degree from Miss Hickey’s School for Secretaries in 1953. On July 26, 1957 she married the love of her life Herbert Campbell. She was the secretary to the president of the Aluminum Workers International Union for many years. After retiring from the union she worked for a period of time for Inland Technologies Services. Upon on her 2nd retirement she pursued hobbies of book reading and classic movies study and watching. She loved to get together for a good meal with friends as well as a great debate.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, her father Edward and husband Herbert. She is survived by her brother, Paul (Bertie) Brauch; as well as nieces and nephew; Jan (Mark) LaMay, Steven Brauch, David (Jeanne) Lombardo, Linda Lombardo and Scott Lombardo. She was a good friend and loved by many.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Friday, March 5, 11 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation, Inlieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stray Rescue, Shriners Hospital for Children or deGreeff Hospice House. Thursday 4-7 p.m.
