Borawski, Edward Stanley “Stan” Jr.

Monday February 3, 2020, Edward Stanley (Stan) Borawski, Jr, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 74.  Beloved husband of 53 years to Constance (Connie) M. Travers Borawski; devoted father of Edward Stanley Borawski, III (Deanna), Theresa Marie Borawski Kowalewski (Rodney), Brian Michael Borawski (Amanda); dearly loved grandfather of Ryan, Katelynn, and Bradon Borawski; Andrew and Erika Kowalewski ; Adam, Brandon, and Chase Borawski; dear brother of Billie Smith (Sonny), Stephen Borawski (Debbie), the late Brenda Good (John), and Linda Nichols (Dale); brother-in-law of the late Joyce Hatton (David), Michael Travers (Margaret), Barbara Goodman (Paul), Mark Travers and JoAnn Miriani; our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Edward was proud to have served in the United States Army.  He was a devoted Catholic of St John Catholic Church and an Honorary Life Member, as a Fourth Degree,of Knights of Columbus who served as Grand Knight as well as other offices of Council No 13762 in Imperial, MO.  He was a long time member of The Catholic Knights of America/Catholic Financial Life.  He worked as a truck driver and machinist.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, traveling and sporting events, especially football in which he had season tickets for the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.

Services:  Visitation Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4 – 8 pm at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 8, 2020, 10 am at St. John Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs, Imperial, MO 63052. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 Mackenzie Road, Affton, MO 63123. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or The American Heart Association appreciated.
