  3. I sit here saddened by the thoughts of Aunt Murtle. I remember staying at the Vail house on weekends in my early teens. It was the first time I ate Vienna Sausage-crackers and mustard! I still eat that to this day. Used to pick bagworms off the bushes in their front yard. Mike, Gary, Ron and me all had good times. We didn’t include Debbie at all, poor girl! She was better off. I remember going to alot of baseball games watching usually Mike playing. Many fond memories of Aunt Murtle driving us around.

  5. What I remember first about Aunt Myrtle, was that she would rather be playing cards with the men in the family, instead of hanging-out with the women!
Also, she was not afraid to speak what was on her mind; she could be very direct.
What strikes me the most about her, is the fact that she must have had great strength of mind/character; having lived through the loss of two husbands and three of her four children. No human being should ever have to experience such extreme grief. At least now, she is in a state of peace, and again, in the company of those she loved.
Aunt Myrtle, you certainly earned a well deserved place in Heaven…
