Billstein, Richard S. “Dick”

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Richard Billstein. He passed away Wednesday November 30, 2022, just 3 days shy of 81.

Beloved husband of Terry Billstein (nee Nystrom); loving father of Gregory Billstein and Gail Rozier; loving  stepfather of Thea Griffith, Timothy (Margie) Lupold, Danielle Lupold; adoring grandfather of Tim, Ashleigh, Sidney, Alexis, Josh, Christina, Nichole, Amber, Ren and Marlee; cherished great-grandfather of Mckenzie, Nevaeh, Casey Jr., Santiago, Parker, Ramon Jr.  and the late Kayden; dear brother of Bruce and Brian Billstein, and  Gene and John Wolbert, our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Before retirement Dick  was a longtime buyer for Dierberg’s. He charmed  everyone with his wit and humor. He was a scholar of God’s word and lived out a good example of what a Christian life would be.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. Affton, MO  63123 on Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 am. until funeral service time at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held in private. Contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated — St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)

  15. Dick’s knowledge of the Bible and his faith in our Savior were evident in his quiet joyful spirit. I and all of the guys from the Thursday group are missing him.

    I have no words that can ease what only time can do. Dick was one of the best. I will miss him terribly, as will you. His jokes, kindness, smiles and teasing were part of the joy of life. May we often reflect on those moments. God bless
