  7. Please accept our sincere condolences. I always felt like I was in the company of an old school Hollywood actor when talking with Hal. He had the gift of gab and a heart of gold. I am thankful to have known him. Our prayers go out to all his family .

  9. Hal loved most all sports, especially his beloved hometown teams. His appetite for The Hill & quality sitcoms from the sixties & seventies were legendary. But more than anything he loved his family and wide-ranging group of friends. Life was lived fully by Hal and the lives of the people he met along his journey were greatly enriched!

  11. The Bertchumes were neighbors to my grandparents, John and Thelma. When staying with them, the Mrs Bertchume and the kids and I would walk to church on Sunday. Good memories for me. I’m sorry to hear of Mr. Bertchume’s passing, but he is once again laughing and dancing with the love of his life. My condolences to the family.
