Battig (nee Armes); dear father of Kurt (Kim) Battig, Paula (Eric) Weidler and the late Donald Jr. (survived by Sue), Keith and Ronald Battig; dear grandfather of Christopher (Sarah) Battig, Sarah (David) Ahearn, Joshua (Laura) Weidler, Kara Battig, Jill (Eddie) Buehler and Kate Battig; great-grandfather of Chloe, Avery, Aiden, Luke, Wyatt, Lucy and Morgan; loved furry companion Maggie; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

SERVICES: Private funeral by KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Humane Society of St. Louis appreciated.

What a wonderful role model to do many…Taught so many how to be a Great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle through actions not judgement…..meant the world to our family and did so much for so many! My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him! Aunt Pat and Uncle Don are reunited and have left a wonderful legacy in their kids, grands and greats, as well as the countless lives they touched.
