Glenda was born May 20, 1939 in Green County, Arkansas to Arthur and Josie (nee Jackson) Brinkley.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years James C. Barton, married June 27, 1957, and her daughter Mary Ann Barton and son William Barton.
Glenda is survived by her loving children, Wayne and Chris Barton and Timothy Barton.
She was a loving grandmother to Jeremy and Courtney Barton, Brian and Gail Barton, Brad and Laura Barton, Michael and Shauna Barton and Holly (Ross) Fordyce.
Glenda was a loving great-grandmother of Taylor and Brian Loethen, Theresa Barton, Teagan Barton, Brandon Hensley, Emma Barton, Elliott Barton, Everett Barton, Gracie, Saylor and Jackson Fordyce.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois Wednesday October 14, 11:30 AM. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
