Bannister, Rosalie Ann “Ro”

(nee Rallo) Age 81 passed away Thursday July 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Bannister; loving mother of Mary Ann (Terry) Schulte, Maureen (Tom) Mueller, and Joseph G. Bannister. Cherished grandmother of Anne Marie(David), Kevin William(Zoe), Nicole Marie (Marc), Andrew Thomas, Hadley Rosalia, Joseph Patrick, and Ella Grace. Great- grandmother of Emma, Madelyn, and Baby Louie. Dear daughter of the late Sam and Mae Rallo. Treasured sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to all.

Ro lived at Laclede Groves in the independent living community. She has brought joy and love to all who knew her.

Ro’s life will be celebrated with a Mass on Saturday, July 24th, 10 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel in St. Louis Hills. Visitation will be held in Church from 9 AM-10 AM. Burial will be private.

In lieu of gifts, donations to Ursuline Academy (named Honorary Alumna) or Saint Louis University Bannister Alumni House for a garden in Ro’s honor.

  1. What a beautiful and gracious woman, she will be terribly missed. She and Mr. Bannister always showed and extended such kindness and thoughtfulness when the girls from the Woods, would come and visit!! That was over 40yrs. ago, and her hospitality still continued till the last time we visited. So glad we got to share stories and had so many laughs, she was a wonderful woman. May she rest in peace.
