Allen, Daniel D.

Allen, Daniel D., age 80, left this world to be with Jesus on June 29, 2019 at St. Clare Hosptial in Fenton, MO.

Mr. Allen was married to Norma L. (nee Faulkner) Allen for 59 years and to this union 1 son was born,  Mark D. Allen, who survives, and 2 granddaughters Natalie K. Allen and Melissa Q. Allen who also survive. Mr. Allen was the son of the late William Lionel and Laura Pearl (nee Chiles) Allen. One brother survives, his twin Bennett “Forrest” (Shirley) Allen of De Soto, MO and he was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Willis Allen and Dale Lionel Allen and one sister Linda Kay Allen.

Mr. Allen was so honored to serve in the United States Army in the position at M.P. stationed in Augsburg, Germany. He had an unusual talent of writing backwards and loved to give little appreciation notes to people along the way.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Wednesday, July 3, 10:00 am. Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make donations to the charity or church of your choice. Visitation Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 pm
