Schnorbus, Edward P.  Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

Beloved husband of Rita Schnorbus (nee Feldmeier); loving father of Darlene (Dale) Lanser, Diane (Peter) Moleski, David Schnorbus and Donald Schnorbus; our dearest grandfather of Denise (Stockton) Helbing , Danielle (Justin) Guyton, Kimberly (Timothy) Powderly, Michael Moleski, Nicholas Schnorbus and Elizabeth Schnorbus; our dearest great grandfather to John Helbing, Liliana Helbing, Caroline Powderly and Charles Powderly; brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.  He is survived by his sister, Virginia Kellogg.

Ed served in the Army as a Sergeant in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953.  After returning home, he resumed is job at the A&P grocery store.  Ed was a manager in the produce department of several grocery stores; A&P for 30 years, Snyder’s IGA for 2 years and Shop n Save for 12 years full-time and continued part-time for another 17 years after retiring.  He was the union shop steward and coordinated the union UFCW Local 655 with the newly opened Shop n Save store in 1978. Mom and Dad enjoyed several cruise vacations to the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii since full time retirement.  He never met a stranger and had a smile for all.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd, on Thursday August 3, at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mark Catholic Church for 10:0 a.m. Mass.  Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to D.A.V. appreciated.  Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 p.m.
