In Loving Memory

Faye Rae Shearer (nee Beck)

Born March 21, 1939 and passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2022 after a courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Faye was raised on the south side with her parents and siblings and also lived for 10 years in Jefferson Barracks when the Army barracks were converted to housing for servicemen returning from WWII. Faye was a 1957 graduate of Hancock Place High School. After graduation Faye worked briefly at the International Shoe Company before she joined Union Electric where she worked for 41 years as a bookkeeper. Faye enjoyed working and dearly loved her UE friends, several whom she had lifelong friendships.

Faye leaves behind her children, Laura (Doug) Pauley and Michael Shearer, and her grandchildren Nick Pauley and Emily Pauley. She is survived by her brothers Raymond Beck Jr., and John (Karen) Beck. Her sister Ruthie Baughman and her parents Raymond Sr. and Ruth Beck preceded her in death.

Services:  Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.. Visitation from 10:00 – 1:00 followed by a memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Siteman Cancer Center, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or a charity of choice.
