Burns

In Loving Memory

Burns, Jason R.

Jason R. Burns, 43, of Arnold passed away in his home on Friday, February 25, 2022.  Jason was born in St. Louis and is survived by his children, Joseph (Joey) Burns and daughter Morgan Rae Burns, along with their mother Tasha Wood, Mother Cheryl McCoy  and Father Donald Burns (Laura Burns), maternal grandmother Joyce Russell and paternal grandmother Alice Burns, siblings Holly Porter (Matthew), Amanda Rickly, Sandy Taylor-Davey (Pete) of Ca, and Joshua Taylor (Jessica). Jason was affectionately known and loved as Frank by Kaylee and Kylie Wood.

Jason was loved and cherished by many more family members and friends.  He and his partner Nick worked together developing Big Show Productions and Jason enjoyed his career providing music, fun, and memories for events from weddings to school dances.  Jason was also generous with his time, often donating his services to cancer benefits, local domestic violence shelter toy drives, and many others who touched his heart.

Jason could be counted on for so much laughter and fun at any gathering, to tell you all about his mad ninja skills and love of cookies – seriously, he would go to great lengths to convince you to bake and deliver cookies for him. His humor, spirit, and warmth will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please join us for visitation services Sunday, March 6th from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.  Service will follow immediately at 4:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis MO 63129. A celebration of life gathering will take place at the Amvets Post 42, 690 Joachim Ave, Herculaneum, MO. At 6:00 p.m.
