Age 90, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, February 13, 2021, due to a non-Covid illness. Beloved father of Gregory (Sandy) Sacks, Catherine (Greg) Meinert and Christine (Jerry) Ashcraft; loving Papa of Alexandria (Justin) Micke, Jim Sacks and Steven Sacks; cherished great-grandfather of Phoebe Micke; dearest brother of John Sacks; former husband of Doris Sacks; brother-in-law of Larry Culp, the late Terry (Barb surviving) Culp; dearest cousin of Terry (Joan) Korpal and the late Debbie Bunten; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jim attended Missouri School of Mines at Rolla and graduated in 1953 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Jim retired from Midwest Fittings//Crane Company and St. Louis City Water Division. He is gone but never forgotten.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, Friday February 19, 8:15 a.m. to The Shrine of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 9 a.m. Mass. Due to COVID restrictions, Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Kidney Foundation or American Diabetes Association greatly appreciated. Visitation Thursday, from 4-8 p.m.
