Cuppy, Lawrence Joseph

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Cuppy (Mitchell) for 70 years and loving father to Carol Murphy (Keith), Glenn Cuppy (Cheryl), Joan Wakeman (Jason), Dan Cuppy (Karen), Terri Prange (Mark), and the late Tom and Mikey Cuppy. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rose Cuppy and his brother Joe Cuppy, and sister Mary Alice Sullivan. He will be loved and missed by his 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear Brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.
He was a kind and faithful man, who was devoted to his family. Spending time with them was his favorite activity. During the 37 years he worked at AT&T, he made many longtime friendships that he enjoyed throughout his retirement days. His kindness and good humor will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors and all who knew him.

SERVICES: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 13, 11:30 a.m. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Agnes Home, 10341 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood, MO 63122 or Disabled American Veterans, 9700 Page Ave, Suite 101, St. Louis, MO 63132.
