Bill Jennings, age 75, passed away in his home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 19th, 2020 in Villa Ridge, Missouri after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bill was born on September 16th, 1944 in Frankfurt, Illinois to the late Ada Crump and to the late Roy Jennings. He graduated from Ashley High School and from Belleville Area College with an Associates of Art degree. Bill retired from United Coal Miners as well as worked at Disney World in Florida for several years which he truly enjoyed. Bill was happily married to Ginny Jennings who was his soulmate in life for 28 years at the time of his death.

Bill is survived by his wife, Ginny, 6 children, Rhonda (Jeff) Knapp, Shane (Marci) Jennings, Wade (Chrissy) Jennings, Ginger (Dave) Moore, Kathy (Steve) Pilgram, Liz (Ben) Saltzman, 11 grandchildren, Kelsie, Kirsten, Brady, Jessica, Zach, Peyton, Faith, Kayla, Cody, Tristen, Chance (Tyler), brother, Lonnie (Sue), sisters Charlene, Donna, Sharon, Brenda as well as 4 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Butch Moore, brother, Bobby, sister, Vickie.

There are too many things to mention about Bill but here are a few: Ginny’s soulmate, a teacher, a great listener, a good-hearted country boy. He never knew a stranger; he had the most contagious laugh; he was a hard worker day and night, he traveled to many countries, and boy did he love to sing!

Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation at Kutis Affton Funeral Home on 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, Missouri Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd at noon, interment Valhalla Cemetery.
