Dominic Anthony La Mantia was born September 29th, 1974 and departed this life at 1:30 pm Saturday January 11th, 2020. He was at home when he passed from apparent cardiac arrest at the age of 45. Dominic was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Dominic is survived in Life by; his Parents- Margo La Mantia., nee Gunn & Joseph La Mantia, his Siblings-Angela Mers., nee La Mantia, Elizabeth La Mantia, Christopher La Mantia, & Jason La Mantia, his Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law- Michael Mers and Jamie La Mantia., nee Mollenauer, his Nieces and Nephews- Danielle Jackson., nee Mers, Mathew Mers, Zachariah La Mantia, Angelo La Mantia, Rocco Trovato, & Ezekiel La Mantia. Dominic was preceded in death by his eldest sister Michelle La Mantia in 1982. Dominc is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who will miss him dearly.
Dominic was a proud member of The Ironworker’s International Union since 1994 through Ironworker’s local 396, St. Louis, Missouri. Dominic’s Ironworker Brothers and Sisters were his Family as well and a large part of his daily life.
Dominic has more friends than can be counted and never new a stranger. He lived his life under the motto of “La Dolce Vita”. Dominic will be missed but never forgotten.
Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Wednesday, January 15, 4-8 p.m. with funeral service on Thursday at 1 p.m.
