Failoni, Anna Rita (nee Catanzaro)

 Our Dear Mother Anna Rita (Catanzaro) Failoni died of natural causes on December 6, 2019 at age 93 at Mary Queen and Mother Center in St. Louis. Anna was a treasured mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Anna Rita was born in St. Louis to Lena and Joseph Catanzaro and was a dear sister to Marie Cusumano.  In passing, Anna joins her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank H. Failoni Sr. Together they lived a long and blessed life.

A rich Italian American heritage was a source of pride in Anna’s life. Anna was a lover of the written word, her Catholic faith, and the creativity in each of us, she especially enjoyed gathering the family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren cooking special Italian dishes. Anna shared traditions and values of hard work, lifetime learning, and a love of children and family.

Anna is survived by her six children Rosemary (the late Jack), Teddy (Bob), Francine( the late Pat), Anne (Rich), Mary (Bill) and Frank Jr. (Lisa) and her sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church on Wednesday December 11 from 10:00 am. until funeral mass time at 11:30 am. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.  Flowers or donations to St. Gabriel’s Parish are welcome; St. Gabriel’s Catholic Parish 4711 Tamm Ave St. Louis MO 63109.
