Aaron was born and baptized (by his grandfather) in Sedalia, Missouri to John and Lynne Borchelt on March 31, 1982. His godparents were his Aunt Jayne Jones and Uncle Bob Groth. He attended Salem Lutheran grade school and went on to Lutheran High School South. He continued to bleed black and gold when he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Communications and Marketing. He started out as a Project Manager at Maritz for 13 years and then a Production Control Coordinator at Concordia Publishing House. He started working for the St. Louis Cardinals as an usher when he was 17 because his mom told him no when he was 16 since he didn’t have his own vehicle at the time. Some of you may have heard his majestic voice giving the play-by-play at Lutheran South Football and Basketball games. If you were lucky enough to take a peek at his basement, you would know that he was Mizzou’s #1 fan with season tickets for football and basketball for many years.

Aaron was very active with Teens Encounter Christ, National Youth Gathering and Coaches Vs. Cancer, The Missouri Valley, St. Louis Sports Commission and The Jason Motte Foundation for many years.

Because Aaron was involved with so many charitable organizations, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice on his behalf.

Aaron is survived by his parents John and Lynne, sister Michelle and “nephew” Mac.
