Kenneth James Praprotnik, age 47, of St. Louis, MO climbed the Stairway to Heaven on August 15, 2019. His love for music and bicycling were evident in almost any conversation, but what he loved most was family. He could always be counted on to keep family and friends connected and updated on each others’ lives with his regular phone calls. He was genuinely proud to share in the excitement of our lives.
He is survived and will be deeply missed by his father James, sister Cheryl (Brent), brothers Mark (Breanna and nephew, Cooper) and Michael (Angie), aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, and friends. Kenneth is preceded by his mother Marlene.
A private family prayer service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1pm at New St Marcus Cemetery mausoleum chapel, which will be his final resting place.
A public Memorial Celebration in honor of Ken will be on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Kirkwood Community Center from 11am-3pm. Kirkwood Park Community Center Room 300 111 S. Geyer Road Kirkwood, MO 63122
“Oh, the world turns around
The world and the world, yeah
The world drags me down…
…[But] the sparkle in your eyes
Keeps me alive, keeps me alive” (“She Sells Sanctuary” by The Cult)
