On Saturday, August 31, 2019, William Finley, loving and devoted husband of Dawn Finley and father extraordinare to Noah and Zoe Finley, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53. Bill was born on July 6, 1966 in Pasadena, CA to Susan (Greene) Finley and Charles M. Finley. He married his wife Dawn Kasal on April 1, 2000. Together Bill and Dawn added two amazing children to their family, Noah and Zoe.  

Bill loved adventure and was all-in on his life as a husband and father. He was generous, loving, goofy, and smart. He made those whose lives he touched better. He loved philosophy, music, and soccer. He loved playing golf and chess. He found satisfaction in gardening and solving problems–especially computer system problems. He was the light of our lives. He loved to joke and laugh. He made us laugh everyday.He was the life of so many parties. He loved his family beyond all else and gave them everything.  

Bill is survived by his wife Dawn, his 2 children Noah and Zoe, his mother Susan Finley of Arcadia, CA, his father Charles and step-mother Betty Finley of Georgetown, TX, his brother Ian (Karen) Finley of Andover, MA, his step brother Marc Acree of Los Angeles, CA his step-brother Mike Acree (Sara) of Acworth, GA, his mother-in-law Anne Kasal of St. Louis, his father-in-law and step-mother-in-law Mike and Lori Kasal of St. Louis, his brother-in-law Jason Kasal of Chicago, IL, his brother-in-law Jeff (Elizabeth) Kasal  of Colorado Springs, CO, a nephew, three nieces, an aunt, two uncles and several cousins. 

Visitation and service will be held Thursday September 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO  63123. 

Bill will be eulogized at 6:45pm.
